The world's best fish far and wide. Always very friendly service. Great for relaxing in a luxurious atmosphere. We always like it there very much. And the judgment is really as objective as possible, because there is a relationship. ;)

Super good "address", very friendly service, very tasty food, everything was wonderful.

Very friendly staff, who tried to fulfill all requests. Quiet location but still a good starting point for hikes and excursions. The breakfast is very good and the fish dishes in the evening cannot be beat.

Wanted to come with three children, so they were very rude. Too bad, last year they were still child-friendly!

Very friendly staff. The food was really tasty and absolutely worth the price. However, if you want to sit on the terrace, it is advisable to make a reservation. We would love to come back.

The restaurant is very clean, the staff was nice. My rump steak tajga was knocked very flat and the garlic pieces could have been smaller. Otherwise we enjoyed it.

In the Hotel-Restaurant Forellenhof you can stay overnight very well - the ambience, service and friendly family flair are convincing. The view in the evening from the terrace directly on Pottenstein Castle is breathtaking. A very well prepared trout dish - directly from the host - and the evening is perfect. We thank you very much for the hospitality. We would love to come back.

Nice, big and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and you are served very quickly. The food is perfect, the trout is freshly fished from the pond and this is how it tastes. I can only recommend this locally for all fish lovers. The food was great. I will stay there again and eat there every night too.

Nice, clean rooms, cozy and comfortable. Newly made bathrooms, but probably a bit for the slightly older generation. Food (it was asparagus time ..) was unfortunately somewhat drowned in fat, price performance for this: passable, because the asparagus was very fine!

An excellent smoked trout is offered in this restaurant. Just the thing after a walk through the beautiful Franconian Switzerland. Of course there is also normal home cooking. The beer selection is rather poor, especially for this region. There are also outdoor spaces where you can sit comfortably in summer.

Fantastic accommodation;) Had luck and cheap booked. Mid-September with great views from the balcony. Breakfast with lots of choice and plentiful. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

The fresh trout 🐟 are really excellent. The large salad as a side dish also fits perfectly. We were served very friendly and there is a puzzle sheet and something to paint for the children. Not cheap in terms of price, but just at the pain limit. We also liked the free parking spaces right in front of the door. Unfortunately Kulmbacher beer is served, although Franconian Switzerland is home to much better breweries.
